The Australian Human Rights Commission calls for individuals and organisations who have made outstanding efforts to protect human rights in Australia to nominate for the Commission's 2009 Human Rights Medals and Awards. People under 25 years can nominate for the Young People's Human Rights Medal. Nominations close on Friday, 2 October, 2009.
