Australian schools are taking a significant step forward in achieving the goals of the national Digital Education Revolution by being able to exchange information seamlessly and securely utilizing SIF.
In November 2009, Australian Education Ministers agreed to adopt an Australian version of the Systems Interoperability Framework, or SIF, as the preferred standard for sharing information between schools and school authorities. SIF Association, 7 April 2010.
