The successful completion of the ALTC-funded project 'Teaching from Country' (TFC) has proven that it is possible to rethink our understanding of pedagogy when divergent knowledge traditions come together. The project was the work of ALTC National Teaching Fellow Professor Michael Christie who, using a range of digital technologies, united traditional Yolngu Aboriginal knowledge authorities living in remote northeast Arnhemland, with students studying Yolngu languages and culture at Charles Darwin University.
