Australian school students will get a better understanding of the Asian region, to prepare them for a globalised economy of the future with $6.28 million allocated to projects boosting Asia literacy in schools. Several of these projects will help schools to establish virtual links with their sister schools in Asia, allowing teachers and students to explore alternative ways of learning about the cultures and languages of China, Indonesia, Japan and Korea.
