Families with young Aboriginal children will have access to improved support services at three new Aboriginal Children and Family Centres in South Australia to be completed by the end of 2012.
School Education and Early Childhood Minister Peter Garrett and South Australian Education and Early Childhood Development Minister Jay Weatherill said government partnerships will deliver new Aboriginal Children and Family Centres at Hincks Avenue Primary School in Whyalla, Ceduna Area School on the West Coast and Christies Beach Primary School in Adelaide.
"These centres are being built as part of the Indigenous Early Childhood Development National Partnership which will invest $564 million over six years to provide quality early childhood services to Aboriginal children and their families," Mr Garrett said.
