NSW high school students could get access to banned social networking sites such as Facebook if a trial is successful. A month-long pilot that ended in December saw five schools receive access to Flickr, YouTube, MSN, Facebook and MySpace via their government-issued netbooks, as part of the federal Digital Education Revolution program.
