The launch today of poetry exhibition, Ribbons of Cursive, Razors of Font, at the Australia Council for the Arts heralds the arrival of a new national body for poetry, Australian Poetry. "When you think about it, poetry is an intrinsic part of human communication and language. It's come an awfully long way from its beginnings as an oral tradition in ancient Greece."
