National Training Packages are the fundamental building blocks of vocational education and training. They are the critical tool to ensuring that industry's skills requirements are demonstrated in learning and assessment. COAG and the NQC auspiced major reform to make sure that training products adapt in line with changing client needs and expectations. These reforms are designed to simplify and streamline training products to make content clear and straightforward, and qualifications more flexible and adaptable.
The program of reform has been underway since mid 2009. The website will provide regular updates on developments, news and events, and inform further work.
